Glo Honours KSA At Its Evergreen Series 2

Globacom, Nigeria’s leading telecommunications company, has announced the line-up of King Sunny Ade, D’Banj and Yemi Sax as it unveiled plans for the second edition of its special music concert, “Glo Evergreen Series”.
In a statement, Globacom said it will be dedicating the second edition of the Series to King Sunny Ade, the music maestro and legendary composer for his consistency in the past 50 years and contribution to the juju music genre.

The special concert will hold at the Intercontinental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos on 28 February with King Sunny Ade as the headline act.
“The night will feature a blend of classic and contemporary music as the Koko master and talented entertainer, D’ Banj and top saxophonist Yemi Sax  will join King Sunny Ade on stage to entertain guests,” the statement reads.
Glo Evergreen Series is to honour legendary Nigerian musicians for their outstanding performances and contributions to the development and growth of the nation’s music industry.
The first Glo Evergreen Series honoured Chief Ebenezer Obey, one of the juju music legends in Nigeria in “a night of fun, glamour, glitz and good music” on 28 September, 2013.  Chief Obey in collaboration with M.I and Yemi Sax thrilled the audience comprising captains of industries, top government officials and Globacom’s premium subscribers.
King Sunny Ade’s fans who cut across the young, industrialists, top administrators, socialites and the political class are expected as special guests at the event which the organizers said is strictly by invitation.
