Nigeria centenary: Abuja Bantaba to honour 100 tourism personalities

 The Organisers of Abuja Travel Market, `Abuja Bantaba’ on Tuesday said that it had concluded plans to honour about 100 leading Travel and Tourism personalities in Nigeria.
This is contained in a statement issued by Mr Ikechi Uko, the Coordinator of ``Abuja Bantaba’’ in Abuja.
The statement said that the award was part of the organisation’s activity for the country’s centenary.
``As part of our centenary, we seek to honour the best of Nigeria’s 100 leading travel and tourism personalities in Nigeria,’’ it stated.
According to the statement, the award will hold during the 2014 edition of the ``Travelers Award Dinner’’ scheduled for April in Abuja.
It stated Mr Donald Duke, a former governor of Cross River and Mr Audu Bako, a former Governor of old Kano State were among those to be honoured.
The statement described Duke and Bako as one of the greatest tourism visionaries in Nigeria.
The others are Chief Gabriel Igbinedion of Okada Air, Sir Louis Ojukwu of Ojukwu transport and Mr Austin Ilodibe of Ekene Dili Chukwu, among others.
Abuja Bantaba is an annual travel event organised by Akwaaba travel market in Abuja
