It’s easy to label every new thing that happens “a trend”, so let’s not. But seriously, there’s a ton of co-working spaces cropping up in Lagos of late. And the latest one is Cranium One, a space that is outfitted with glass-covered private offices, a “hot desk” that is intended to seat about ten roving co-workers, and fixed desks with inbuilt storage for the more permanent types who want flexibility without the accoutrements or costs of a private office.

Cranium One is the creation of a quiet but familiar face on Nigeria’s internet business scene. Olaotan Towry-Coker, is founder of Afritickets and Zandalu. I’m not quite sure where he got the idea to create a top secret neuro-augmentation research facility co-working space in the heart of Victoria Island.

So I’m going to ask him on Wednesday at lunchtime (noon, Lagos time) in a 30-minute live broadcast. Subscribe to get notified, and for the chance to call in and ask your own questions.

In the meantime, this is Cranium One.
