NaijaTalkTalk- 5 Daily Habits that sets you on a path to success

 5 Daily Habits

A habit is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur unconsciously. Old habits are hard to break and new habits are hard to form because the behavioural patterns we repeat are imprinted in our neural pathways, but it is possible to form new habits through repetition hence it is important to practice this habits daily until it is part of our subconscious mind.

1. Read alot.
Tai Lopez said one of the keys to success is to never go a day without learning.  Reading exposes you to new things, helps you improve yourself and your understanding. Reading is also a great tool which helps you prepare for action as you gain experience form other people. Reading sharpens your communication, connects your brain and boosts your imagination and creativity.  It’s important you devote at least an hour as a starter daily. However, on an average it’s good to read for at least 3 hours a day.
  2.    Set Goals.
It is important to set targets daily, write down everything you want to accomplish for the day, month, Quarter, year or decade. The more you set goals and write them down the more Clarity you get on your end vision. Your goals drives you forward, gives you laser focus and makes you accountable rather than just talking about what you want all the time and not do anything concrete about them.

3.  Exercise.
Regular exercise is one of the best routines you can establish in your life if you want to be highly successful. You’ll get in better shape. You’ll have better energy. You’ll think better. You’ll be more positive. You’ll even be happier. It’s a win-win-win-win-win success strategy! If you cannot exercise in the morning, get it in around lunch time or in the early evening. If you are on the ground floor and you are traveling to the fifth floor, take the stairs rather than the elevator however, do not overexert yourself because it may set you back.
4.Invest in yourself.
Network, educate yourself, invest in relationships, spiritually reflect, and take care of your physical and mental health. Whatever you invest yourself and time in, is what you get and become eventually.
5. Serve and Give.

Contrary to popular opinion, highly successful people do not focus primarily on money. They focus on serving and giving because serving and giving creates value. However, since creating value often leads to financial reward, successful people end up receiving financial reward simply because they continue to grow in their ability to serve and give. The financial reward is like icing on the cake to their focus on serving. Dexter 'Femi Akin-Alamu said “You are not a millionaire because you have millions, you are a millionaire because you can give millions”
In conclusion, excellence is a habit. It is a lot of small things done well, day-after-day. Starting any one of the habits listed will give you incredible willpower over time. But you must be consistent.

It will be far more beneficial for you to begin just 1 of these daily habits and do it consistently, than to do all 5 for a short period of time. So select just 1 habit to add to your life and stick to it. After it has truly become a habit, move on to the next one. Over time, you will see incredible benefits to your willpower!
