Cape Town - FIFA President, Joseph Sepp Blatter will be in
the stands when Nigeria takes on Zimbabwe in the third place match of the
African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Cape Town.
Blatter arrives Cape Town on Friday afternoon for the final matches of the tournament billed for Saturday.
A statement from the media department of CHAN said “The FIFA President, Mr. Sepp Blatter, arrives this (Friday) afternoon in Cape Town for the 3rd Orange African Nations Championship, taking place tomorrow (Saturday) at Cape Stadium”.
“The final between Libya and Ghana will be preceded by the 3rd and 4th playoffs between Nigeria and Zimbabwe which take place immediately after the closing ceremony at 3pm”.
Nigeria lost the semi-final clash to Ghana via penalty shoot-out, and so did Zimbabwe to Libya in the other semi-final clash.
