Boxing in Nigeria needs media spotlight- NBBC Scribe

Scribe of Nigeria Boxing Board of Control (NBBC), Remi Aboderin has given an insight on how the pugilist game can thrive in the country.

Aboderin stated that the sport may head for extinction without the support of the media and private sector participation in the promotion of the game of boxing.

“Sincerely, what we can do to improve the standard of Boxing in the country is largely between the Government and the corporate world and definitely for Boxing to thrive anywhere in the World, the support of the media must be present and the truth is that our Boxer are not being given enough exposure but we have Boxers who can beat the Mayweathers of this world”
