If
there is anything ASUS is known for, it must be its quality range of
2-in-1 laptops that can be used both as a laptop or tablet. The company
however has more to its name as one of the world’s leading laptop brands
maker and the number one brand in Taiwan.
But during the company’s newest unveiling at the 2015 International CES, it was the 2-in-1 brands that stole the show once again. ASUS Chairman, Jonney Shih introduced the full lineup of the groundbreaking ASUS Transformer Book Chi Series — powerful, razor-thin 2-in-1 laptops that transform instantly into the world’s slimmest Windows tablets.
ASUS Chairman also stated that “the ASUS Transformer Book Chi is the ultimate dream machine that wraps mobility, entertainment and productivity all into one beautiful device.” Also speaking at the launch was Intel Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Client Computing Group, Mr. Kirk Skaugen.
Skaugen, whose company has been in partnership with ASUS for years said: “We appreciate the support of our longtime friend and strategic partner Intel on this journey in search of incredible.”
Skaugen also mentioned that “Intel and ASUS share a common passion for technology and we have jointly delivered some incredible products, including desktops, 2-in-1s, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The ASUS ZenFone 2, powered by the latest 22-nanometer Intel Atom processor, and the ASUS Transfomer Book T300 Chi, powered by the 14-nanometer Intel Core M processor, are significant achievements in our now multi-decade history of joint collaboration. We look forward to continuing our partnership with ASUS to develop the next generation of inspiring mobile devices.”
Also unveiled was the much-anticipated ZenFone 2, which features a refined ergonomic body, advanced PixelMaster camera technology, the latest Intel® Atom™ Z3580 processor, and the brand new version of ASUS ZenUI that is designed for ultimate personalization.
In a related development, ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) recently announced a successful “Play It Cool Streaming Marathon” in Cologne, Germany 2015. The campaign successfully proved that ROG gaming laptops and small form factor desktops can handle over-clocked levels of gaming performance for hours on end.
Pro-gamer Grubby, along with four well-known Twitch streamers and four pro-gaming teams, participated in the 3-days Event, with an audience of millions following their every move online via the live streams on Twitch and the event website The Event featured a 24-hour Heroes of the Storm stream, a 24-hour Heart-Stone stream, as well as a one-day DOTA 2 tournament.
