Startup Week, a 5-day event that brings entrepreneurs, local leaders, and friends together to build momentum and opportunity around the technology community’s unique entrepreneurial culture and identity is coming to Lagos in July.
The event, which consists of keynote sessions, meetups, panel discussions, workshops, pitches as well as several networking opportunities would provide the knowledge, insight and relevant contacts needed to launch a startup in Nigeria, expand a current venture and better understand the latest trends in African markets.
One of the main goal’s of the Lagos Startup Week is to give Nigeria the critical mass needed to support the growing community of entrepreneurs and attract investors and mentors from outside the region and across the globe.
“If you are interested in checking out or getting plugged into the Lagos startup scene, there isn’t a better time to come to Lagos than during Lagos Startup Week”, says Olumide Olayinka, one of the organisers of the Lagos Startup Week.
Whilst the schedule and events are still being built up, you can take a sneak peek here or email info@lagosstartupweek.com and/or lagos@startupweek.co to get involved.
The event, scheduled to hold from July 27th through July 31st, will be the first Startup Week in Africa.
